Disease is an abnormal situation experienced by the body or mind that causes discomfort, dysfunction, or difficulty for the people it affects. To cure the disease, people used to come to the doctor for a consultation. Then, doctors prescribe medication if needed.

The study of disease is called pathology. Meanwhile, the science which deals more broadly is a medical disease. The disease consists of various types. Here are the types of diseases.

Communicable disease

Infectious disease caused by a germ that attacks the human immune system. Germs can be bacteria, viruses, amoeba, or fungi. These diseases can be transferred or transmitted from individual to individual. Here are some infectious diseases.

1. Anthrax

Anthrax or anthrax disease, including type of deadly infectious diseases. The disease is caused by the bacterium Bacillus anthracis. This disease often attacks the herbivores. Anthrax is a zoonotic disease which means that can be transmitted from animals to humans, but can not be transmitted amongst humans.

2. Bean (Mumps)
Surly or exaggerated illness known as mumps is a contagious disease caused by a virus. Transmission of the disease is through droplets from the mouth, nose, and throat, when people with this disease coughs or sneezes. Prevention of this disease can be done by way of immunization at the age of 12 months and 4 years.

3. Wormy
Wormy disease including communicable diseases due to worms are contagious. The disease is caused by tapeworms, pinworms, and hookworms. In this disease, parasitic worms are lodged in the body.

4. Chikungunya
The disease is spread by mosquitoes that carry the virus alphaviruses. The disease attacks the joints and human bones.

5. Scarlet fever
Dengue fever disease, including acute febrile illness that commonly found in the tropics. The disease is spread to humans by the mosquito Aides aegypti. The signs of this disease, including high fever accompanied by continuous emergence of red spots on the skin.

6. Diarrhea

Diarrhea is a disease that attacks the digestive system so stimulating to defecate continuously and feces containing excessive water. The cause of this disease can be a symptom of injury and allergies. In addition, acidic foods, spicy, or coconut milk, to excess can cause diarrhea. Symptoms of diarrhea is usually accompanied by abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.

7. Influenza
The disease is commonly called the flu. The disease is transmitted by air through sneezing medium of the patient. Common symptoms of this disease are fever, sore throat, headache, nasal congestion, coughing, and lethargy.

8. Malaria
Malaria, including infectious diseases. The disease is classified as deadly because each year more than one million deaths due to malaria. Usually, this disease outbreak in the tropics, such as Asia and Africa.

9. Ringworm
These diseases include infectious skin disease caused by fungi. Ringworm can be transmitted through direct contact with patients or indirectly.

10. Bird Flu
These diseases include infectious disease caused by a virus that usually attacks the birds and mammals. The disease is transmitted by air or by contact through food, drink, and touch.

Communicable Diseases

 
The disease is not contagious type is not caused by germs, but because of the problems of physiology or metabolism in tissue. Examples of non-communicable diseases, including oral thrush and abdominal pain.

Chronic Disease

Diseases of this type take place very long. Chronic disease often causes death to the sufferer. Some diseases that include chronic disease are as follows.

1. AIDS
These diseases include chronic infectious diseases. The cause of this disease is the HIV virus that attacks the human immune system.

2. Heart
Heart disease or heart attack caused by interruption of blood flow to the heart. Interrupted blood flow is temporary or momentary, but can lead to death.

3. Cancer

The disease is characterized by typical cell cycle abnormalities that cause the cells to grow uncontrollably, attacks the biological tissue surrounding cells, and migrate to body tissues through blood circulation.
